Army FRG Support

Welcome to the Army FRG System.  On this page, you will find links to various support documents and information to assist you in working with the Army FRG System.

The Army Family Readiness Group (Army FRG) website provides a secure environment in which information, resources, and support are available to Soldiers and their Family Members 24 hours a day, regardless of their geographic location.  A unit’s virtual FRG site, or vFRG promotes the community feeling within Army units by providing a place that is customized to the unit and contains content that is controlled by the unit.

Army FRG provides all of the functionality of a traditional FRG in an ad-hoc and on-line setting to meet the needs of geographically dispersed units and families across all components of the Army.  Army FRG is a Commander’s tool that allows them to communicate directly to Soldiers and Family Members.  Unit vFRG sites can be accessed at any time to view information and photos, read stories, ask questions, participate in Forums, and much more.

Subscribe to Your Unit's Site

There are two ways to subscribe to your unit's vFRG site:  As a Sponsor and as a Family Member.

First, if you already have a username and password on the Army FRG system, you will want to log in first so that your new subscription will be connected to your current account.  If you don't have an account, you will create one during the subscription process.  Then, click on the Find an FRG button at the top of the page.

If you are subscribing as a Sponsor, you will need to provide information about yourself including your name and last four digits of your Social Security Number.  If the data you enter matches with the data in the unit’s Sponsor database, you will immediately become a subscriber and be granted access to the site.

If you are subscribing as a Family Member, you will enter your information and the information regarding your “Sponsor or Interest”.  If the data you enter matches a Sponsor within the unit’s Sponsor database, and you are on the Sponsor’s Sponsor List, you will immediately become a subscriber and be granted access to the site.

Please note that your Sponsor information must match exactly what is in the database for your unit.  If you get an error message that your Sponsor information cannot be found, you will need to contact the FRG Administrator's for your site.  Click on the Contact Us link and then on "Your Unit."
